All the gelato in the world couldn’t be as sweet as your home. There’s a saying “sometimes you have to disconnect to fully reconnect”, your home did just that for us. It was just the reset our family needed… From our busy lives in Los Angeles. Watching my children explore your grounds, catching grasshoppers, lizards, and swing on your tree swing, it was the type of freeplay I’ve always wanted for them. The soundtrack of gentle waves and crickets will stay in my memory for many moons. Thank you for your warm hospitality, including helping me get that gnarly splinter out of my son’s hand. Speaking of my son, he really would like me to add to this note… We hope to come back soon! Thank you for sharing your house. Last night, we attended the town’s bonfire, we watched all the locals join hands and sing, it inspired me to foster deeper togetherness with my community once I’m home and for the deeper connection your home fostered for our family, we will forever be grateful.
Un luogo di pace sul mare, un luogo di ampio sguardo sul mare, un posto senza tempo, un posto che vuole essere trovato, noi abbiamo!
Può sembrare banale, ma arrivare in questo bellissimo posto e trovarsi un panorama magnifico ed un vassoio di frutta fresca al centro del tavolo, per me che sono maniaco dei dettagli è stato bellissimo e mi ha subito chiarito dove mi trovavo. Inutile descrivere il paesaggio, quello lo vede chiunque, ma abbiamo subito avuto la bellissima sensazione di essere in una casa ordinata, linda ed organizzata come a casa nostra. A fine vacanza confermo la mia prima sensazione, siamo stati benissimo, immersi nel verde, nel mare ed in un silenzio totale per noi “assolutamente indispensabile”. Sono sincero non so se consigliare questo luogo agli amici, in quanto egoisticamente ne sono già un po’ geloso. Grazie di tutto.

Grazie mille for sharing your paradise!!! This wonderful place is a long searched antidote to the hectic big city life. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. We spent a great time here with snorkelling, jumping into the sea, and enjoying the silence and astonishing starry sky.

This is a really beautiful place for holiday! Nice Luisella, nice view, nice house, nice weather. This place is worthy to come back again and stay longer. We would like to stay here two weeks long. Here is really a PARADISE!

We really enjoyed our short stay here at SALINA! The view over the sea, the sound of the wind and the waves, and the isolation… all that and many more makes Salina a special place and helps us a lot to have some very relaxing days. Ten minures before sundown you walk out through the Northern gate and turn left, until you reach the tall red rock with the hole. You sit down in some distance like in front of a TV screen. Through the hole ideally you see two thirds of sky and one third of water. And then you watch the orange glowing sun dive into the sea! This is SALINA-SUNSET-TV (much nicer than anything RAI can show).
